THANK YOU to everyone who has had us in their thoughts and prayers. Thank you, again, to mycorgi.com for allowing me to share my stories with a community that is so amazing. Complete strangers brought together by the same love. The love and compassion for our pups. When something tragic like this happens, it hurts so much that you feel all alone, but thanks to you all and your sweet comments, it has truly been comforting to know that I am not alone.
Being that we were away, the reality of it all didn't quite set in until we returned home. It was rough going through the normal daily routines without her and moments alone highten the sorrows. Nonetheless, I stumbled across some pictures of when we first got Rosie and they really just make me laugh. She was a 'broken' dog when we got her because her ears weren't standing like the breed standard. We had to tape the ears for a few weeks, but in time, the ears learned to stand on their own. My method got better with time so she went from looking like a little alien to a bunny rabbit! I wanted to share pictures of her for all to see and enjoy those memories with us.

When I get sad, I just look at these and they make me smile and laugh. I always enjoyed, and will continue to enjoy, all of your pictures and videos of your beloved pets. I love knowing that other people out there value their pets as much as I did. Thank you for sharing them so proudly.
Prior to this incident, my husband and I had been talking about other breeds for a 2nd dog. When the time comes, it'll be hard to resist those stubby, fuzzy paws that I love so much (so, we'll see!). Perhaps one day in the future, I will be back with new pictures and stories to share with you all.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
