I read about this ball that was recommended for herding breeds. It made sounds when bouncing or rolling causing the herding instinct to kick in and have them chase it and corner it. Me being the curious mommy I am decided to take a look at it for Caesar. Since he needed to go to the vet for booster shots I went to talk to a salesperson about it. He did not hear about the ball being great for herding dogs but I decided to give it a try. No, the ball is not good... it's pretty freaking sweeeeet!!!!! Yes, notice my excitement. Caesar loves it and I am sure the neighboors hate it. As soon as I bounced the ball it blinked and make some weird sound. I threw and Caesar started doing his very famous herding bark. The more he chased it the more it hit a wall or something that would make it sound off. Caesar could not get enough of it, he cornered the ball a couple of times and get all pissy when the ball would light up once cornered. Then I would pick it up, throw it against a wall so it would light up and the dog would go nuts! So he's jump at it, bark at it, nip at it, and take it to the next corner. By the time he was done with it, his tongue was hanging out, he took a bit of water and passed out.

The only down side is that the ball is a bit too small. Though big enough that I know he can't swallow it, it easily gets under the furniture, causing a very hysterical Caesar to whine and bark until I could get it out. Other than that my (and Caesar's) favorite toy.
