Have been interesting for "The Mau" Long weekend with her buddy Carmah, and then the next weekend to go out to the farm to see my bf's family and she can run with their dog pack. Every morning we woke up to her getting into mischief and hurt in some way just about. Friday morning she jumped into the pond and was cool with it because the other dogs did it. However, we always joke about her ears never miss a thing... this this time it was a bad thing. Apparently at full speed, she ran past a barbwire fence, and it pierced and ripped through her right ear. It didn't phase het any, but every time she shook her head, blood spattered everything. Vet visit later, head wrapped. area cauterized and antibiotics in her system, she slept most the day away by force and was embarrassed by the head wrap. Primadonna indeed.

Next morning came around and the head wrap would have been taken off as instructed, but Maui took care of it for us before bed. I carefully watched her as she did her business, and so forth. Apparently while I had my head turned, she got her nose stung in two places by a wasp, and her eye and nose was swollen. Poor dog.A small amount of Benadryl later, she was back in the bedroom for a few hours. after that she was like normal, only this time I hope she is a bit smarter.

Next morning was good, no run ins or issues, but we also kept an eye on here and she was too pooped to poop by that time.
