Yesterday was like THE! BEST! DAY! EVER! Started off a little strange during our morning walk, Poppy kept turning around to look behind her and wanting to "go home" until we got to the half way point and then she pulled me in the other direction to get home as fast as possible. It was very strange. Quiet as usual when I left in the morning. We had a good walk at lunch (but not so quiet when I left after that) and after work I had to run some errands in the neighborhood, so I took her with me (pet store related.) But then I remembered that I had to pick up a book from the local library and I was very nervous about leaving her outside for a few minutes. I tired her leash up very tight (I tested it by lean pulling on it myself and it didn't budge) in a quiet place and when I came back, she was there waiting! Yay!! I will try not to make this a regular habit, but now I know she can wait for a few minutes without me.

I put her in her create with her kong and Rescue Remedy when I took a shower and it was the quietest that she has ever been, I was so happy!! No accidents either! YAY!!!!! Our walk before bed was very good too.

Today we have an another eval at what looks like a good place near where I live and work, so hopefully that goes okay. Also this morning when I left, she was fine while I was in the apartment, but when I left, I waited in the hall for about 5 minutes and she whined and barked a little, which as far as I know, she hadn't done all week. So that kind of sucked, but oh well. I am going to try to leave my purse and stuff closer to the door next week, so I can sneak out better (I didn't do a very good job this morning).
