Also what kind of food is Bailie on? I know with this new trend of ultra high protein grain free dog foods, lots of dogs are having more gas and soft stool. Many just can't handle some of those foods that are out on the market now.

Franklin used to have gas, at work his name was "Frank de la pew" because he was Mr. Stinky. I still call him Fart Face about as often as I use his real name (and he responds! Lol). Switching to Taste of the Wild seemed to have gotten rid of the gas and I use a digestive enzyme and that has firmed up his stool. I had tried everything with no success, but this combination seems to do very well for him. No more stinky Franklin unless he gets into something or somebody gives him a ton of treats.

I keep the type of candles with lids around and open the lid when the smell get unbearable. With 3 dogs that happens fairly often. Our spaniel has a sensitive tummy which has improved when we started confining them to the dog run where there are no plants to nibble on.

If you go to the health thread, you'll see several different posts about stomach problems. Seems to be prevalent in the breed. I would suggest adding a spoonful of yogurt with each meal to help regulated the digestive system. If that doesn't help, you might need to try switching foods. Also, does Bailie gulp food? The more air intake during eating, the more gas.
