Update on Team Low Rider

Well, the big Walk is in 5 days.

The Humane Society sent out a newsletter this week, and our team was mentioned!

Team Sweet Pea and Jesse

Team Sweet Pea and Jesse, pictured here at Paws in the Park 2008, is no stranger to Paws in the Park fundraising. In fact, they have won team fundraising three years in a row! They have stiff competition this
year, with Team Low Rider nipping at their heels.

Yes, those are the infamous "cat ladies" of our primary competition.

Last week they pulled way ahead of us. We pulled closer, got within about $550. Well....

We're back in first place! Thanks to so many generous donations, Team Low Rider has now raised over $8000 while Team Sweet Pea has about $6000. Gah, this is so nerve-wracking! Will our lead be enough, or will Team Sweet Pea pull another upset? I'll be a nervous wreck waiting for Sunday!

I wanted to thank the wonderful people of mycorgi. Look at what you have done! It's practically a miracle :)
