Hi everyone!! Dot is doing 100% better on her chewing up the carpet! Our problem now is, she is squatting a lot to pee, and at times nothing is coming out. I took her to the vet and they said might be a UTI, so they gave us meds. Meds did not work, so they ran a full unrine test on Dot and found a small trace of "crystals" in her urine. The vet suggested that i change Dots diet to a low protein diet with a supplement of cranberries and marshmellow mix. It has been 3 weeks and no change, yesterday Dot peed in the house and I noticed that again there was dots of blood and a big dot of blood in her urine. I called the vet and explained what is going on, they want to do a ultra sound on her which is going to cost $380.00 just for the procedure!! Is this the normal price??

I am going to another vet for a second opinion, and he has suggested doing xrays first to see if there is any "stones". Dot seems fine, she eats well, drinks well, plays non stop the only thing that i have really noticed is her squatting to pee often and now the blood in her urine.

Has anyone had any issues with their fixed female corgie or is there a vet on MyCorgi.com that could give me any helpful ideas of what this could be? Thanks so much!!
