Hello everyone!

I am very excited because I just purchased a VestHarness 3 in 1. You can use it for walking, car restraint and chest protection. I only bought this about 2 hours ago and have taken Lance on two short walks already!

Lance didnt give me any problems about putting on the harness, like he knew he was going to go for a walk once it was on, even though I didnt even mention the walk to him! I walked towards him with it and he walked towards me, AWESOME!

Ive heard mixed reviews about harnesses making dogs pull more, but I have to say that he didnt pull at all!!! I really hope this solves his problem of pulling. If you have read my post before you know I have been working on this problem for awhile!!

So far I really like this product, it is by Canine Friendly Products/RC Pet Products.

Lots of walks coming Lances way. : )

I was reminded quickly today of why the harness is soooo great for Lance. I forgot to put it on and just put the leash on his collar and wow, we quicly went back home to get his harness so he would stop choking himself!!

I think I am going to use this blog as a way to track how much walking we actually do!

5-20-09.....One hour walk in the morning and another hour walk at night! Lance is one tired dog tonight : )

When I first got Bertie, I tried a gentle leader -- but his legs are so short, he kept tripping over it! hahahahaha. I just found it impossible to control the slack, but I am supremely uncoordinated. We have harnesses in the car, that the seatbelts slide through, for safety. I like them for that a lot.

I might have to look into that since Finn hasn't given up pulling yet either. Have you tried te head harnesses such as the gentle leader or halti? I've been considering trying those too. We've used a regular harness int he past but it didn't help at all.
