Today is a big day to celebrate, Lance would have been 9, if the rainbow bridge didn't call him so soon. He sure brought us lots of joy as well as laughs over the years we had him. My daughter bought this toy for Lance for one of his birthdays a couple years ago. Photo credit to my daughter for taking the top pic of Lance. We all had such a special bond with him, my oldest and Lances birthdays were one day apart. Yesterday was a tough day for her without…

Time flys when your having fun, hard to believe Tucker is 7 and my youngest daughter turned 17!! Tucker and Sarah share a birthday!! I always said if I were to have any more human children they would have been born in October, well apparently I didnt't realize that rule applied to our pups too. :)
Tuckers St Bernard cousin came for a surprise visit to help celebrate the birthdays!!! It was the first time they both met each other, and they…

We got the sad news that Lance and Tuckers corgi cousin Isabella (my brother in laws corgi) has passed away at the age of 11. Lance had gotten to meet her a few times, unfortunately Tucker never did since they lived out of state and haven't been able to coordinate time together.
Isabella was our inspiration for getting a corgi. Like all corgis, she was soooo sweet, and just loved playing fetch and loved the kids.
RIP, without any pain anymore and…

I thought I would share Tuckers entertaining talent. Tucker loves to lay on his back with a ball in his mouth and maneuver it with his paws. He didn't always do this trick, he started a while ago, but it was only every once in a while, but now it seems to be more and more!! Now that he has a new squeaky ball and ring, it must be entertaining to him, since he seems to be doing this more and more now, which is fine with me!!…

Last night as I sat on the couch, I look down to see Tucker with a ball in his mouth. I have seen him do this before but haven't had the camera nearby to catch it in time. This time I was able to capture it with my phone and then upload it to u tube. I joined u tube so I would have a means of sharing this video, since I don't know when it will happen again.
The ball he is playing with is a Planet Dog ball, which both Lance and Tucker love, they are squishy, which they both…

Well, the Saugatuck trip came and went! All the preparations seemed to take longer than the whole trip, trying to figure out who was coming and who was staying, but after 1,000 changes we were on our way. Lance was suppose to stay home and was being watched by Grandma and Grandpa who were coming from the upper Peninsula of Michigan until Grandma ended up in the hospital not…

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you...Happy Birthday Dear Tucker, Happy Birthday to you!!!!!!!!!!! (& Sarah)
Tucker is 4 years old today and exactly 10 years before that my daughter was born!!! I guess to be a kid in this house, you need a corgi with a birthday on yours or the day after yours (Lance and my older daughter)!! I always said if I ever had any more human children after my youngest was born, he/she would probably have an October birthday too, never dreamed I…

I am so excited, guess why?? Tucker and Lance showed signs of playing today, which hasn't happened much lately, last time I got them on video playing was in Michigan in July for a short time. Today, Lance started out licking Tuckers ears and Tucker was gently sniffing Lances ears, no licking though. They then started playing, Tucker going at Lances ears, which made me nervous, but Lance was letting him, so I let him handle it and he did fine. It is almost as if Tucker knew to be gentle…

Thank goodness the weather is cooling down, and I know Lance is thinking the same. The thought crossed my mind, about taking Lance for a walk tonight as we finally have a cooler night. All I had to do is say, I think I should go for a W and guess who comes running at the sound of that letter, yep Lance!! I had to talk myself into it, but Lance ended up staring me into it, with the head tilt and those big blue eyes staring at me, we are going, aren't we?? That is all I needed to say ok,…
