We are getting a new addition this week and we totally feel the same! Kirby is our little boy and I have been counting down the days until we bring home his little sister (and tell him so often haha)!

Waiting for my puppy too! Cant wait, I get him at the end of the month. I guess I see him more as a friend then a child though since I'm single and actually really liking it for once in my life. So, I kind of need a friend and motivation to get me into shape for myself and not worry about anyone but me and my puppy.

Thanks, look for pics of the new baby soon. We have a small journey to go get her (all day drive) but I know its worth it. I think Dougy, our 1yr old Corgi, is even excited , he knows something is going on.

I felt the same way about Spencer. Dave and I do not have children, and I am totally "in touch" with the fact that he is the baby substitute and I tell people that. Congratulations on the new baby!

Oh gosh, I was soooooo excited when we got Penelope and yes, it is like a kid. When potty training, you have to follow them around everywhere and never take your eyes off of them because one half squat and they just did in the house. But, they learn so fast. We didn't have many problems. They also put everything in their mouths and those puppy teeth are sharp! Then, you are so proud when they learn new things and you can really get some training done. Still, they are so cute and fun that it is all worth it!
