Animal Lovers and Pembroke Welsh Corgi Lovers! Our household is a bit of a zoo with our Corgis (Kirby and Zelda, brother and sister from same mom and dad but a different litter), a guinea pig (Bacon), a Chinchilla (Iggy), a bunny (Fritter), and our roommate's loud-mouthed Parakeet (Taven). We also just added a kitty cat (Mouser)
Kirby is definetly a handful but has calmed down considerably as he turns, quickly, into an old man. Mostly, he just likes to lie around these days. Zelda is a ball of energy and noise who alternately amuses and bewilders both her people parents and, especially, Kirby. Although they can drive us pretty nuts sometimes, they are wonderful and very loved doggies.
Hello Adam and Brittany. We are on our second set of Corgis. We have always introduced our new pups to the elder on neutral ground.
Take them to the park and let them sniff. Seperate and repeat. Then in your yard. Take adult in the house and intro the puppy. Good luck.
Hi Adam & Brittany! Your Kirby is SOOO adorable! I remember when Pippin was a puppy...So smart...so persnickity. They have a mind of their own. Have you been in Englewood long? From here originally? I've been here 24 years from upstate New York. Had Pip since 2001. Just LOVE Corgi's. Would love more. Did you get Kirby locally? Wanted to breed Pip, but fear it may be too late. Thanks, and welcome to the site. Nancy
Haha. Thank you. Yours is adorable too. Actually, no. I just remembered the little pink Kirby from the game a few days ago. Actually there is a street called Kirby Drive where I live and I thought it would be a cute puppy name. Anyway, nice to meet you:)
