The day finally came. We had our wedding on the 14th so Finn no longer has to worry about being made fun off by the other pups for his parents not being married. :) We've been planning the wedding for the past year and a half and everything turned out great. There were a few issues along the way but they worked themselves out in the end. It was very stressful as the big day drew closer, especially since Jason was laid off a week before the wedding. Talk about bad timing! We had to put aside worrying about that to enjoy the wedding but we did and we had a blast. We spent our honeymoon in Las Vegas (I had never been there before) and it was a lot of fun especially being there for St. Patrick's Day. The worst part was leaving Finn behind. He stayed at my Mom's since he knows her house and her Cardi which is Finn's older half brother. We left detailed instructions on what she should and should not do with him but I know many of the rules were not followed even though she says they were. We don't feed Finnigan table scraps so we asked that she only give him his own food and dog treats but magically when we came back, there was just as much of his food in the bag as there was when we dropped him off 5 days earlier. It was obvious when we brought him home that his diet was changed because he took forever to go potty and when he finally did it was very hard, then very runny. We also noticed that he was limping and biting at his front paw and upon closer inspection we found a couple thorns in the side of his pad. After removing those we thought he would be fine but no, he is still limping. We can't tell which leg is causing the problem but we've made sure that all pads are fine. I'm worried that they may not have been watching his closely and perhaps he was jumping off things or playing too rough and sprained or pulled something. I don't see any swelling and he doesn't react when I move his legs but he is definitely limping and it's worse when he first wakes up. I hope it's something that will heal on it's own and not something serious that will require surgery. I guess we'll just have to watch him and see. Anyway, not the best thing to come home too but hopefully he'll be fine or Daddy better find a job quick so we can take a trip to the vet.

Yay, congratulations! I really wish you the best! Isn't it funny how it seems that no one takes as good care of your own pup as yourself? I always hear things like that. Anyway, I hope your husband can find a job soon.. My thoughts and prayers are with you!
