So yesterday we took Wyatt to pampered paws in chelmsford to get his nails cut. I have been dreading this day for a while. Wyatt does not like his nails cut, and I dont blame him...have any of you ever seen that commercial for the peticure where they show the nail being cut and throbbing? Looks painful.

Anyways we tried to muzzel him and that didnt work so my boyfriend just picked him up and held him on the table and she was able to cut them all in no time at all. Wyatt is a bit of fighter.

I definatly reccomend this new small business.

All in all we have to go back next month so we can get him used to it.

Talk to you all soon, maybe someday his picture can get up on the wall of fame in the nail salon if he gets used to it.

Kirby used to hate it since his quick got nicked when he was young, but we took him to Petco and they did them a few times without too much fuss. Now my wife is a pro at it and cuts his and Cricket's in no time flat!

Lola hates getting her nails cut also. She shakes, gets hiccups, and starts to bite and fight back. If you want to try something else get the peticure. Lola let's my boyfriend grind her nails down while I feed her turkey lol. It works and her nails are nice and short =)

Samson was fineuntil we got Buddy who HATES getting his nails cut. I have to take both of them to have it done. They even charge me a handling fee because they are so bad!!

Duncan is just as bad if not worse about getting his nails clip. It takes 3 of us, to handle him. He's a strong big boy! Last week, I finally just told the tech to get his back feet for sure, cause they were the longest. I've got a dremel I'm going to try to use on him. Even if I only get one nail a day done. I've tried playing with his feet since he was a puppy, and it's a no go. He hates to have his feet touched. (SIGH!)

My first corgi was a dream to do her nails, she would stand there and let you pick up each of her feet and calmly let you trim. But, then, the people that raised her, would play with the puppies feet all the time from the time they were born. I know, cause I was there from the time she was born and helped them with her and her siblings.
