So, I'm not a new dog owner but I've never had a corgi. Zelda has grown this really long fuzzy butt. Do corgi's need to have that groomed?

Brush, brush, and brush some more. They are hairy, but wonderful little suckers....

Griff's fluffy butt gets out of control, but he's also a Fluffy. I keep him trimmed down at all times, otherwise he gets matted and lots of debris sticks in it! lol Luckily he's very clean with his potty duties :)

Moira and Cody both have great fluffy butts. I just watch out for dingleberries. If it gets to be an issue, I plow a path.

Linus needs lots of brushing (and a poop chute) on his fluffybutt! It takes viligence to keep mats from forming behind his ears, front legs and his bottom. Bear (smoothcoat) blew coat last week and I got one grocery bag full of corgi fur! My fluffy doesn't shed in the same manner....

I call them their pants (if a boy) or skirt (if a girl). Duncan is starting to get his "pants" pretty thick right now, just before it get real cold. I wonder if that's so they can sit in the snow and their bottom doesn't get cold? All I know is come spring, it is all over the place when it blows!

LOL @ poop shoot! Too funny! Yes that area needs groomed and I like to use the undercoat comb.

The undercoat brush seems to work fine.
