Kate: Your pictures are fabulous and we love the tractor girl! My Tasha is definitely jealous of Ms. Snout's vehicle. I went to Bennett College in Millbrook, NY and visited Albany during my college years. How I miss the Hudson Valley.... My fluffy Linus is from Anne Bowes, a member of Mayflower. Have you ever read their publication, the Corgi Cryer? It's my favorite. My own daughter, Kate, is on mycorgi.com (Kate Leupold) and Squizzy is also a corgi rescue. Do check on her - she's about to graduate from Virginia Tech. Please extend my compliments to your family on such a beautiful home, too.. Corgi high fives from Bear, Tasha and Linus and Nancy, the resident human
I love your home place! Cool colonial cedar house, country farm with carharts :) and what a view... you guys are living the good life. I am sure it is hard for you to leave to go back to your apartment.
Hi Kate & Mollie! We have had Katie since April and I could not imagine life without her. She is my first pet and I she has completely ruined it for me because she is perfect. We will get her a little brother at some point but no dog will ever compare. People that meet her and admit to not liking dogs fall in love.
Too bad play dates are not an option....maybe we can "accidentally" run into you :)
Hey There Kate! Thanks for posting on my page and I love all your new pictures. Mollie looks like a very happy corgi. I would highly recommend a dog trainer! I've been getting private training sessions so that I will feel comfortable going into a group class. My confidence is growing and I am no longer freaking out when I see a stray dog walking down the street!
Tigger has been making progress and we've had a couple of play/walking dates with my friends. Last weekend, I took Molly and Tigger out to my barn and my friend brought her corgi. I didn't think she would get along with Tigger but it went really well. My sister and I meet weekly to take our dogs on walks together too.
If you ever feel like Molly would ever accept another corgi- and you want to do a rescue, I would highly recommend going through a corgi rescue. The people are usually corgi people, breeders, owners and are good about matching up personalities and behavioral issues. But then again, some dogs are like Mollie and want to be the only DIVA in the household- and that is okay too!
Your Mollie sounds like my black headed Tri pem...Molly! Very bossy. I am working on both of mine for their socialization issues. Both of mine detest smaller dogs!
Greetings! Love the pics with the beautiful fall colors. You know the old joke we have hot, hotter hotest and Christmas down here HAHAHAHAHA. Your girl looks like a real doll.
Welcome Kate!! Your pup looks alot like my Gizmo. I love this breed. You will have a good time on this site. Wonderful pictures and nice people. Hope to hear from you. Gail.
Welcome Kate and Molly! I am also a huge Tasha Tudor fan...grew up with her books! You are gonnna love it here, lots of nice folks and adorable corgis!
