Jenna and I will hopefully be having lots of play dates so I'll keep you posted!! I will be in the bay area next Tuesday, but not sure when I will be by the vet with Franklin to pop in and say hi. Last time I brought Franklin in he was VERY nervous about being at the vet! Poor guy! I'm trying not to have too high of expectations for the puppy but its hard since Franklin was sooooo cute and happy and friendly when he came home!
Its a female, I will be naming her Eleanor, AKC name "Franklin's First Lady Eleanor Rigby" hehe. She will be coming home next month. I'm soooooo excited!!
Guess what....I'M GETTING A PUPPY!!! I decided to get one of the puppies from my breeder after she continuously sent me pictures everyday of Jenna's puppy! Haha. I've been thinking of getting another dog for a while now so I figured hey why not now!?
Hey Nicki! Just saw your post on the NorCal group page, I too have heard horror stories of two females living together. May not be worth putting lily through the stress. Also, I have heard a lot of negative feedback about one puppy litters (i.e. the pups don't grow up with siblings so often have MANY behavioral issues as adults) There are lots of threads on here about singleton puppies, I'd definately think twice about getting a pup from a single pup litter. Just my humble opinion :-)
There's a corgi fair in Dixon next weekend, Jenna is going to come over and we are going to go. I'm soooooooooo excited! A bunch of little bunny butts all in one place! I'm hoping there will be a herding instincts test so Jenna can see Franklin in action. He's going to be overwhelmed by all the dogs that look like him! So far there have been 2 different corgis at the dogpark I go to, one was a little red-headed tri. Frank was the cutest of course...haha
aw man, I just wrote you a comment and it erased it! Here is the short version, Frank's breeder said their female has been bred, pups are due sometime around Dec. so there will be a new Frank look-a-like at Sequoia sometime in Feb. (I'm giving the pup to Jenna). When are you getting your little guy?
we got the test results back today, basically she said everything was normal and thinks it may be neurological. So still no daignosis and she just said not to play too much with him... I'm really disappointed in getting yet another negative test result. I just wish we could figure out what exactly was causing this and maybe we could help him! Oh well, I guess it just means I get to live by an ocea, river, or lake for the next 15 years :-) Hugs to you guys.

Hi!!! Frankie says give Lily a big ole kiss! His test results from the muscle biopsy were due back yesterday but dr. called and said they won't be back until Monday! We are very frustrated by the delay! Its been HOT HOT HOT here and Frank can't wait for the cooler weather so he can go back to LOOONG walks and playtime! Miss you guys!
it was so instrumental in teaching me obedience moves.
The first move he had to learn was SIT. And now i make sure he does it before he receives food, open his crate door, and anytime i want to establish i am the pack leader.
Nicki, unfortunately, Lucky will not get better. He walked dragging his back leg for 3 1/2 years after his surgery, and then the past 6 months has been all down hill...with him seal walking most of the time. The past month or 2 he doesn't really stand up or walk, so the cart is so great! He loves that he can play ball again, he often runs right over Sonny who just doesn't get out of the way!
(Sonny is so large I don't worry too much!) Thanks for asking.
Lily Rose is adorable, glade you found her to help you heal as well as be a large part of your lives! When we lost our Odie, we were in the process of moving and Lucky kept looking in the boxes to see if Odie had been put in one of them. 2 weeks after Odie died, Lucky was paralyzed (IVDD), he was luckily save with surgery. It is so hard to lose one, I cannot imagine losing 2 at once! My heart goes out to you. Carol, Lucky and Sonny
It was great seeing you there at the meet up as well. We remember when she was a little puppy running around in the park. =) Hope to see you guys again soon. Have a good day Lily and friends!
hello! sorry for the late response....tell me all about the specialty in Los Gatos! I bet it was too much fun and full of cuteness. Are you going to the meet tomorrow in Mtn View? its the 5th saturday! Penny is already sleeping to get energy for tomorrow. Hope to see you there!
Hi Nicki and Lily Rose! Too bad that we might miss you this weekend :( Has Miss Lily's fur grown back around her collar area? We hope she is doing better! I love the cuuuute puppy pictures that you have up! Especially the ones wtih Lily Rose and the cute stuffed animal corgi :) Have a great day!
Unfortunately Ollie and I will not be able to attend the corgi meet-up for the next few months because we are bringing home a little sister for Ollie this Saturday. We hope all is well with Lily and hope to see you soon!
Hi Nicki! Welcome! I'm so sorry to hear about your two corgis. Lily Rose will definitely help you pull through. She is such a cutie and Ollie can't wait to see her again. Hope her recovery goes well. Ollie had complications too but she was a trooper and after two courses of antibiotics, her stitches finally healed.
