Welcome to LA. You missed the Corgi Fun Day which is every June in Anaheim Hills. But next year . . . If you're looking for a good Corgi vet there's Dr Shane in Marina Del Rey. She's amazing and takes good care of Joey. Then there's Dr Williams at Yerba Buena Animal Hospital. Great facility. She's Corgi trained. Not sure why you crate your Corgi. We're against crates for these dogs. They're too smart and sensitive and like to feel close to their owners. They really will behave if you reward them with love and consistent rules. And give them special places that are their own. We use those cheap corner tables you get from Ikea and put a pillow under them. Corgis like short tables that fit their height so they can nest and be at home. Herding lessons can be had locally. Corgis love herding sheep. But we use a Wubba Kong on the beach to give Joey herding exercise.

For "lay down" this is going to sound silly...we were taught to put the little guy on the edge of the coffee table and work with him there. It worked with our pup, but not with our older rescue. I will try to find the paper work from training class in our files tomorrow. HAHAHA! I read on Jane's page that Ollie had nerve problems? Hope all is going well...keep close tabs on him.
