That is our goal - and no, we don't have a rooster - but one of our hens is often broody and a bit too aggressive for my taste. We definitely keep our eyes on al the girls to be sure we don't need to fit Pocket with some 'doggy goggles'.
Thanks for the welcome - she doesn't herd them YET. She's getting very good at 'watching' them, but we discourage her chasing them as we don't want that to turn into eating them when she gets a little bigger. We hope she'll help us penning them in the future, though. On a search for a great trainer nearby Austin that will help us to develop her skills.
