Thank you for commenting on my blog "Oklahoma Tornado...." Usually, I just sit on my front porch and watch them as they never get that close in this part of the state. But when I saw Topaz, Frankie, and Ladybug upset, I knew it was serious! Actually, it all happened so fast, I really didn't have time to "review" my safety plan. All I could think about was my furbabies and making them safe. Glad you liked the blog. After all was over, I wanted to share the story, but also make it as light-hearted as possible -- hence the moral of the experience -- LOL! I guess if I was able to sing, they may not have been so scared -- I'll definitely have to work on that!

This was really good info thank you very much. Favorite is now 17 mos old. She loves people so much just today in fact i took her to petco she has a horrible time sitting still when people come up to me or her directly she just wants to love them to death lol. She is doing pretty good at not jumping up ... well when i say pretty good she is doing amazing in comparison to where we started. But she still goes a little to happy. Do you have any tips on how to get her to sit still?? That right now is the only test i know she would fail of the 10 the rest she has in the bag already from what i have read up on it

oh we would love to show Bo around town! he's got a very big lawn to play in, so I dont think we'll see him at the dog park, unfortunately : )

Geri & Sidney - Clancy and I thank you for the welcome and we hope to see you at the Bernardo Dog Park on the 19th. We often drive there and go for walks. Thank u much for the encouragement. I would like to ask u since Sid is cgc did you guys train him yourself or take him to cgc classes or something? I ask because I could use a few pointers... Favy loves loves loves other people and dogs and is very excited to meet them face to face. I understood that one of the tests of the cgc is that the dog would have to accept the approach of another person or dog with a calm and friendly manner, while Favorite is ever so friendly I cannot say the same for calm. She doesn't jump up much we have taught he not to but how do I change her mindset from super excited to just curious?
