Oh thanks for letting me know . . . . . we have a similar situation in that our trainer wants us to use the choke collar (which is half chain and half fabric) and I don't like it as the metal seems to be discoloring her white chest fur. A minor thing really, but the martingales are so pretty! I ordered one from 2hounds design. Where did you get yours? Also, how did Gibson do with the over the head style . . . . .did you have trouble getting him to accept it? Good talking with you!

Glad to hear you say that getting another dog would difficult . . . . I agree! I would hate to short Nellie of the time she needs, especially since my husband and I work full time. Grandma comes and lets her out during the day, but otherwise she is crated 6-7 hours per day. Not ideal . . . . but we make up for it when we are home! She is much loved!
I was looking at some of the great photos of Gibson you have posted . . . . . did I see a martingale collar on him? I just ordered one for Nellie and am hoping she will accept it. If it is a martingale, how does Gibson like it? Is it a side buckle or over the head style? Just curious.

I agree . . . .comparing dogs is a good way to share information. Is Gibson your only dog? Nellie is our only dog, but we have 2 cats and 2 birds. We are enjoying Nellie so much, I have been considering getting another Corgi. I'm just not sure.... . . . think I'll wait a while longer on that one!

and gibson is adoorrable! i saw your profile picture in the calendar finalists and picked him as one of my choices. bentley is on there too! he's the first one on the right on the first row. sleeping away. his head looks huge. hahaha.

If Gibson ever needs someone to run with let me know! Lucy loves to run and play but we haven't encountered any four legged friends at the dog park in months! We usually go to the Batavia Bark Park off of Main but any wide open place is fine with us!

yes,kc, aka kaley corgi does it out of the blue too, like when i am in the store ---i guess she is bored1...so i let her a lil bit and all i need to say is .....leave it----- and she stops!

sometimes when i walk her, if she sees grass, she gets the frap mood and runs circles round me...so i have to be quick to change hands and let her run around me or trust to let her frap free
