Thanks! We are just waiting to hear back from my breeder about whether we will be getting him or not. I hope we can have him, Frosty really needs another dog to play with. The cats just can't Frap with him like he needs lol

Thanks for your comment, and yes! lol, I am staying cool and so are my dogs. Cold water sometimes with ice cubes and (it is controversial but...) Strike is also shaved. (my god! He LOVES it! He is so happy he lost that extra hot fur, and he doesn't look half bad though I love him furry as well!) : ) And may I say, what a cute dog you have! I never really liked blue eyes on animals but his eyes are so cute! And match him perfectly! : )

Lance could really be a doggie model!! Thank you! It's funny, their adoption days were exactly 10 years apart on the same day, completely unplanned. :)

Hello, I didn't forget about your message from the other day. I've just been trying to sit down and think of all the places we had explored! In a nutshell here is where we traveled to: From Massachusetts we headed South and first saw the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC, saw family in Spartanburg, SC, followed Rt. 40W and stopped in Memphis, drove through AR and OK (we drove through that terrible storm in June involving the boyscout troop), Roswell, Santa Fe and its nearby ghost towns, Rt. 66, Flagstaff, AZ, slept in our truck outside of the Grand Canyon as it was 11pm and no campsites were available, stayed in Las Vegas for a few days. In California we drove through Death Valley, camped in Kings Canyon / Sequoia National Forest, San Francisco (went to Ft. Funston and of course saw the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz), followed Hwy 101, saw Mt. Shasta at sunset, Smith River. Going into Oregon we saw the Siuslaw National Forest, Oregon Redwood Nature Trail (had the entire trail to ourselves), Paradise Point (sank our truck on the only beach you're unknowingly not supposed to drive on, lol), Haceta Head Lighthouse, Seal Rock, Cape Kiwanda, Portland (neat restaurant called Lucky Lab where our corgis are more than welcome). Heading into Washington we visited Dungeness park, Beach #3 (had this entire beach to ourselves), Rialto Beach, Olympic National Park, were oblivious to the fact that Forks and Pt. Angeles were the basis of the Twilight series (we've never seen or read the books/movies), Seattle we saw the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and took Alwyn to Magnusson Park which is a fantastic dog park, saw Mt. Ranier, stayed in Glacier National Park for a week and saw fireworks over our campsite for the 4th. Driving through South Dakota we stopped in Lead, Deadwood, Hill City and Rapid City again, Badlands National Park, Sioux Falls, and then followed I-90 all the way home! Whew, it was quite the exciting trip and we'd do it all over again. We even saw a few corgis along the way
