You're welcome! I feel your frustration. Leash training has to be the single most difficult thing for the majority of dogs (and owners) to learn. It has certainly been the biggest challenge and the most work for Charlie and I so far. Keep at it and Lance will do great! : - )
Lance is a real cutie. Such different coloring, I have never seen that before. Is he mix or full corgi? I can't believe how fast time is going with Max either, he's almost 6 months old, such a big boy.
'Mom - I have found the spot for Lance and Luna's first date - I'm in Key West and Luna has actually had TOO much attention! But I figure if the two dogs were to actually walk down any street here, time might actually stand still.
'Mom - when we got Luna, I introduced her to Kai at a park across the street. My breeder had suggested to not introduce them in any area of the home that Kai felt was his. Kai and Luna played for an hour, then we walked around the block, made it home and they played fabulously. Kai shared all his toys, Luna shared all the ones I had bought for her and things were ok. A few days later Kai's nose was out of joint (Luna hadn't left)- but after one minor melt down, he was fine. I'd bring some of Lance's toy's, let them play in a neutral area, and make sure that they both get "alone" time with their owners. I'm sure they'll be fine and you'll have lots of fun!
'mom, i was trying to be polite about the "dog" comment - hard to believe the rivalry pems owners feel, must be tail envy.... earlier there was a comment that our dogs are "ugly" and our breeders are substandard.... "can't we all just get along....."
I know exactly what you mean. Bella will run up to any dog wanting to play, which is a little scary when its a big dog that doesn't seem that friendly. Plus she is very submissive, and will immediately role on her back the second another dog runs up to her if they aren't on a leash. I've only seen Bella interact with 1 corgi, and it was a 2 month old (she was 8 months), and I have to say it was the cutest thing! They have the same mannerisms when they play fight.
Hi! Lilly the Mom was purchased, as I always wanted a Corgi. A friend of mine had a male corgi and we got them together. Lilly had 5 puppies. We sold two of them, one got ran over and I gave one away. Dottie was a cutie so I kept her. It really is so neat to have a mother/daughter combo.
Thats so funny. Bella still has big ears compared to her small face. Usually people ask me why she has no tail! Lance looks just as mischievous and playful as Bella. Does he like to antagonize the other dogs?
No its not short for anything I wanted her name to start with a B, since both my cats names do. It was originally Bell, but that didn't flow well for me. Even though now I think I should have named her bunny because of her tail, big ears, and how she hops in the snow!
