a super great way to find stuff like herding clinics is to see if there is an agility club in your area... generally, they have information on herding instructors, flyball, dog camps, etc etc. If you hadn't already tried them....

Miko is always thirsty, and she always gets treats when she rides in the car. I can't remember one time she was in the car with me at a drive-through and didn't get something for free. At starbucks they will give her a coffee cup filled with whipped cream, at whataburger one time a lady gave her two whole chicken strips for free (which i had to share with her because they got my order wrong). At dairy queen she got her own sundae for free....oh how difficult life would be if we were all beautiful corgis...thank you for the welcome. Me and miko are both envious of the cool climate you and your corgis get to share.

Hi Melissa!
For Therapy training, first Sidney had to pass the Canine Good Citizen test (I have a blog from around October 08 that explained how the test went). Then we took a 6-week course about how to handle meeting patients with various disabilities, etc, and there was another test at the end of that. The step we are on now is 10 hours of supervised visits...we wanted to wait until my daughter (SIdney's primary handler) graduated High SChool and we took our famiily vacation...so we'll start sometime in the next 2 weeks. After 10 hours he's fully certified!
