These things are the ultimate dog toys! I want to wrap one in burlap or something, put ears, eyes, and a tail on it.
First time Gwynnie (as a puppy) encountered one, the kid knew JUST what to do: he kept it still until my ferociously snarling pup got up the nerve to approach it closely enough for a tentative sniff; then he goosed it forwards about 6 inches, and I think Gwynnie leapt 6 inches into the air. Hysterical.
