I never thought about a horse ball. What a great idea. My husband liked the idea also. I think we are going to try that. Thank you; Rebecca! Thank you both for your suggestions.
at petco they have tough rubber balls that unable to pop and it has gone through 5dogs in my housewith my own and fostering lol they are really made for horses but dogs love them and they are unable to pop and last for a long time:)
He does melt us with those eyes. He has everyone in this house wrapped around his paw. I’ll check out a volley ball. (Thanks for the suggestions). The basketball lasted a year, I can handle that. But it was a full size. I bought him one of the small basketballs at the grocery store it didn’t last any longer then then soccer ball did. (Maybe; I should try the basketball you suggested). We were thinking the better quality soccer ball with the leather skin may help. Well we were wrong. I’m sure it won’t be the first time.

$30?! They got you to pay $30 for a soccer ball!? That's what you get for looking into his eyes.
For only $12, you coulda hired Al & Gwynn as Pneumatic Sphere Consultants. Soccer balls? $2 at the thrift store, but too heavy, and the padded skin invites teeth. Volleyballs may be best, lightweight, smooth tooth-resistant skin. A close second is the Nike Jr. 7-8" diameter kids' basketball, fast, toothproof, says "500" on it. Thrift stores, yard sales. Don't forget the bike pump and inflation needle; keep the ball firm, do not overinflate.
That'll be $12 please. You can pay in liver treats.
