yes Al and Gwynn can come to summer herding camp this summer John. The thing of it is, of the 5 Corgis that we have had, all of them are so ready to herd, they are chasing anything, they all have needed to learn to slow down and come back so we put them on a leash at first. Hank is only 6 months old and taking to the cows like he has been doing it for years. Joey loves to load semi trucks for some reason, he will chase the cattle clear up to the front. He also likes moving the cattle up the chute when we are working them. We are going to work some calves tommorrow if the weather cooperates and I have extra help so maybe I can video the Corgis at work again. It is hard for me to do my job and film them at the same time.

I want to see more cattle herding - do you have more video? Post them if you do, please.

Thank you so much for taking this video. Please take more!! I have been training my three corgis in herding and the livestock makes such a difference!! Our dogs are cattle dogs and all corgi herding behaviors: incessant discussion, dodging, darting will drive cattle. Sheep don't appreciate this approach and it takes more obedience skills for my corgis to move them properly. Thank you for letting me enjoy your fabulous Joey on cattle. I so wish we could work on cattle, too. Well done!

I love to see the dogs doing what they were meant to do. Shorten up that video and show of your ranch hands at work!

I have a better video of him working but it was too long, maybe I can shorten it up some. He is more vocal than some people like but he has alot of bite too
