Thank you all for your prayers, comments and good thoughts! They were certainly needed. Last night was very tough for us not having our little girl home. I shed a lot of tears. Knowing you all were praying was a huge comfort though.

We just visited her at the pet hospital this evening and the vet said that she felt Chloe would fully recover as she hasn't shown any signs of poisoning all day. It was sooooo very good to hear that! However they will still do a kidney/blood test tomorrow morning to make sure her kidneys are functioning 100%. If she "passes" we get to bring her home. If she doesn't, they'll do another round of antidote.

Again, thank you all very much for your prayers! You've been so wonderfully sweet! I'm glad we have this wonderful Corgi community! :)

****UPDATE****

Chloe came home the morning of 7/7/09 and her evening blood work showed that her blood and kidney functions were normal! Yay! Thank you all again for the prayers and comments, they meant so much to us!

Good to hear! I had a cat die on a sunday morning after the neighbors poisoned it with antifreeze, it is good news that you caught it in time and that she's recovering. I know how that feels. Hope she comes home ok!

wiki article
ethylene glycol poisoning
And thanks for sharing this cautionary tale. I looked up propylene glycol coolant/antifreeze; it's nontoxic but has its problems, decomposing to lactic acid with heat and oxygen, therefore corrosive; put that in your car and you'd really have to change it often.

How scary w/a very happy ending. That antifreeze scares the dickens out of me. I'm glad things are looking brighter.
