A friend of mine sent me a preview of the movie: "A Tale of Mari and Three Puppies", it is now showing in some parts of the country and the DVD will be coming out later this year.
It is based on a true story about a Shiba Inu and her three puppies survived the 2004 earthquake in Yamakoshi Village, Japan.
For those of you who don't want to watch the movie and just want to read it, click on this link (Spoiler Alert)
Hee hee...Sam loves his YouTube! Thanks for all the visual aids, Sam. I'm really enjoying this thread and want to go rent a bunch of movies for Memorial Day weekend!
Sam, do you know if "A Tale of Mari and Three Puppies" wll be realeased in ther US, and will it be subtitled or dubbed? I hope subtitled, because I love listening to the original language even if I don't understand it (hello - Pan's Labyrinth? Beautiful language). Do you know how I might be able to buy it? You've got me all excited about it now.
Looks like an AWESOME movie. Reminds me of my favorite cartoon anime, "ginga densetsu weed" Anyways, I've always loved Disney's 101 dalmations, and I really like the corgi disney movie called "little dog lost" Sweet corgi story!
The one of the first movies I saw in a theater was the fox and the hound. Still a favorite with me. Another favorite of my is Doctor Dolittle. The guinea pig cracks me up!
