Hello everyone! I would love to start my own on-line gourmet dog treat business. I have baked and decorated people cakes for a long time, but my passion has turned to my dogs! (Dogs are much nicer than people!)
I would love to hear what other dog lovers have to say about giving these types of treats to their dogs. My hope is to offer all natural treats and even specialty treats for dogs with allergies. My Lucy has allergies but she likes goodies too!
Your advice and thoughts are appreciated.

Hey, I usually charge a reduced shipping rate of $4.80 for the treats. I am on vacaction next week too, I will be back on June 22nd. I can do a money order for payment. Send me an email on my website when you are ready to order.
I make all of my dogs' treats, too. My dogs love a soft shortbread-type treat made with chicken livers. I have found training is easier if I just cut them into strips. Then I only have to hold one and tear off a little bite for reward. It's not cute or fancy, but it's functional. The only drawback is that my Kristel gets so excited for the reward she can't concentrate on what she's supposed to do!
I second the vote for training treats. I could use something small that is "fluffed up" during baking and firm but not crumbly. It would have to actually be very little treat, because training warrants alot of treats, and I like him to still eat his food! :). Something the size of a pea that tastes good, and has very little filler for him to poop out or get full on! (oh and in large Qty.)
