Motel 6 is pet friendly, and if LaQuinta hotels are then the other hotel chains that are with LaQuinta should be as well.

Annapolis is a pet friendly town and Lowe's is a pet friendly hotel there. If you haven't been there, it is very nice. Many restaurants down by the dock let you sit out front with your dog and some bring out a water dish.

LaQuinta is good. We went with our 2 dogs for I think $20 extra a night or something. The only bad thing about pet friendly hotels is fleas. Take along some flea spray to kill any tag a longs. I grew up in a house that had fleas every so often and that is not pleasant so I freak if I see one now. Little monsters! hehe!~

Thank you for all the great information. We are going to get a AAA book this weekend. The internet sites were really helpful too. We are using them to plan before we leave.

LaQuinta was better than I thought it would be. The room smelled a bit of doggie accidents and the dog walk area wasn't that great. But overall, it was a quiet place to stay and the rooms were clean. We will definately stay at this chain again.
