Odd behavior

In the past month, Ellie has started this new behavior that is odd but funny to watch. Anytime my husband or I start to get up out of our recliners and put the foot rest down, Ellie immediately jumps down from whatever perch she's setting on and goes after our feet growling and nipping (not hard). Is this part of her herding nature and she wants us to stay in our chairs where she can keep an eye on us?

ooo, ya, I'd put a stop to that right away. Seems cute in the beginning, but if not stopped, it can lead to worse situations in the future. Sounds hilarious though. You should get some video before putting a stop to it.
