I just received my Furminator in the mail!!
I think it works great! It will take some getting used to...for me and the animals...but I think I really like it. The amount of hair that comes out is unbelievable!

That's great, we call Brody -- "brodhilda" ok, probably a little reference needed here and younger people probably won't get it. If you ever saw the old cartoon Broomhilds, everytime she took off on her broom hair pins would go flying. That's just what the hair off his back does!
So after reading about the Furminator, I went out and got one. BUY ONE!!!!! I'm totally blown away. I seriously pulled a corgi out of my corgi. Jasper just let me brush him like usual, and I couldn't believe how much hair I was pulling out. He looks amazing. I'll have to post the photo of all the hair that I took out of him.
I ordered one the other day after reading your post and seeing the piles of hair. We have a pem as well as 4 cats so I can't wait till mine comes!
Camber is not so into it, but we are! That brush is worth every penny. Just a few sessions is all that is needed for the season.
So, I got a Furminator yesterday...my question is: how long do I keep brushing? Till no more hair comes out? Because seriously, I'm worried my poor Andy is going to go bald at the rate we're going!
Here's the "official instruction" from the manufacturer :)
It is wonderful! Total life and furniture saver!
