No, he had probably a bug bite and it is now 4X4 with a quarter size open spot in the middle so is also on antibiotics!. He's known at the vet office even for licking as they laugh...when he was neutered he had all the skin on his belly bright red and wore a cone for over 2 weeks due to "licking"!
