Area corgi events

Is anyone planning on attending the 2 upcoming GGPWCF events? On Oct 25/26 there's an All Breed show in Dixon that GGPWCF is sponsoring, and on Dec 7 is the Corgi Faire. I was thinking of going to both events, but I can only make it to the show on the 26th. (Penn State is playing Ohio State on the 25th)

Hi Sondra, it is in Dixon, but I'm not sure of the exact location. I'll post it here when I find out. You can also go on the GGPWCF's website for info, http://www.goldengatecorgis.org/events/events.htm, but they haven't put up anything except a save-the-date for the Corgi Faire.

We were at the Corgi Faire in Dixon last year! You can read more about our experience on our blog post here.

If things are the same as last year, there will be multiple "contests" your corgi can be entered in with a small fee (like a few dollars). Some are pretty fun (e.g. limbo, costume contest), some are a little silly (something to do with toilet paper...). Also, if you have a folding chair, bring it, as seats are limited. There were a handful of breeders and vendors, but the real draw of the show is probably mingling w/ other corgi people. We actually ran into some of the same folks at other get togethers :)

We're probably not going to make it this year, but if you do go, please post some photos here! Would love to see how it goes!
