Anyone have a large dog? Food question inside.

Since I'm unemployed at the moment (but actively searching for employment), we've decided to start fostering. The corgi rescue doesn't need us, unfortunately, but we have been approved as a foster home for a local husky rescue. Our first foster will be a 5 year old male.

He'll be the largest dog I've ever had. In addition to our corgi, Ein, we have a 50 pound lab mix and a 60 pound collie. All three of our dogs eat Pro Plan. I'm just wondering at what size it's typically a good idea to go with a "large breed" formula? Would a husky be alright eating the same food we give our own fur-kids, or would it be better to put him on ProPlan's large breed formula?

Thanks!

I always pictured huskies as bigger than collies. I guess not. I'll double check with the rescue, but it sounds like our current food should be good enough.

Thanks!
Your probably right. I love both breeds, and I always figured huskies were malamute sized and malamutes were 100+. Shows how long it's been since I did any reading on the breed. I need to do some more reading before our guy arrives. :)
