We have United Pet Care too. It's more of a discount plan than actual insurance but it's also a lot less expensive than insurance so it's well worth it. It saved us quite a bit on Finnigan's neuter surgery.

Only one of Finnigan's dropped. The vet had us wait until he was 8 months old to be sure other wouldn't drop and of course it didn't. We originally thought we'd have him neutered at a low cost clinic but when he ended needing the chryptorchid neuter we had to have it done at the vet's officce and I'm really glad we had UPC then. It saved us about $150.
