Get together

I think we should all discuss about getting together. I don't know when the last time you all got together and how many turned out. I would like to hear more from this. If someone can give me a heads up to maybe what you did last time. What you liked about it and what you didn't. I would like to set up something. Or maybe you have elected someone to set up our meetings. Just let me know...

I've arranged a play date for here in Alliane June 17th at 5:30 at the dog park, but since most everyone is out in Omaha that wouldnt work too well. We could always set up just a small get together and then spread the word and maybe get more people to come. I intended to go to one of the dog parks down there next weekend since I will be visiting, we could all just meet up. I think maybe this group had a meetup a little while ago, but you would have to ask the other members.

We had a get together at Kristens house(just west of Omaha) last November and it was a blast! There were about 10 corgis there and their people. Loki had so much fun, he was completely worn out the next day! I'll have to see if I can figure out how to post pictures on my page. Unfortunately the guy who organized it moved to Virginia. I definitly think we should have another! There is always the dog park or a backyard. Ours isn't huge but it is fenced. Any ideas?

How many of our members are in Omaha? I would be willing to arrange something, but Im in Alliance and dont know all the dog parks up there. Here is what I did for our local corgi club, I picked a date, told all my corgi friends and printed flyers. We also have a local open mic show that I put the information on. But since we want to join all of our members on here it should be easier. So I guess we will need someone familiar to Omaha to pick a location, date, and time. Any takers?

I will be there late thrusday night through monday morning. any day will work for me except for Friday afternoon

I think this weekend works for us! Anyone have an idea on time & place? At the last meet-up there was nothing planned. We brought pot-luck to share (people not dogs:-). Kristen lives on a farm so we went on a walk and pretty much just let the dogs romp.

Are there any good friendly dog parks around there? I know of one in Bellevue but I've never been there

The only dog park I know is Hefflinger at 112th & Maple but I've never been there.
