Just in case anyone out there is wondering about the quality/safety of the kennel at Busch Gardens Williamsburg, I thought I'd save you the hassle of trying to find an accurate review on the Internet (I only found one after searching for an hour).  We boarded our Cardis at the facility earlier this month and were quite pleased.

This is the review I found on the Internet when I conducted my search a few weeks ago. I can personally vouch that all the information is up-to-date and accurate (except that on the day we visited, our dogs were placed together in the spacious lower quarters and not in the smaller 2nd level area  - and there were very few other dogs there).  Copied from http://www.thingstodoinvirginia.org/is-the-kennel-at-busch-gardens-... :

"The kennel is $10 now, you tell them you’ve got a dog when you pay for parking and they give you an E tag for the England lot. It’s much closer to the park entrance. The kennel itself is open air but shady and up on a breezy hill. you have to show a picture id when you check in and every time you get your dog. It’s clean, big cages (5′ x 3′ or so for our large breed) ankle biters go in the upper crates so they can look around. they give plenty of water and supply a stainless bucket or dish if you don’t have your own. you can go back as much as you want. They do NOT walk the dog for you. There’s a 20′ x 75′ dog walk area. It’s got an opening in the fence way at the back so keep the leash on. The attendents were very nice, competant, one was a vet’s assistant. we kennelled our dog there two days, her first stay in a kennel and she was fine, apart from one untrained growler-yapper nearby. Only one person at a time allowed in to the kennel itself. double fence gates into the area. We went one day to Water Country which has no kennel but your parking pass gets you into close-in preferred parking there. baout a mile or two away. Newport News Park is a great place to walk the dog. Enjoy."

Busch Gardens has had the kenneling option for many years and it is probably quite good as is the park itself. I hope this will hold true as the entire entertainment park has recently changed hands with the InBev buy-out. I would, however, be certain that your corgi is vaccinated with the bordatella (spelling may be wrong here guys) before leaving them within these or any kennels. All the best from Williamsburg: Nancy
