Check Craigslist i've seen a lot of listings for dog training. I know you said besides Petsmart but I just hafta mention how happy we were with our experience at Petsmart. Conan completed his Puppy and Intermediate obedience classes at the Canoga Petsmart with our trainer Katie....she was amazing. We get so many complements on how well behaved he is. She's very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile and break everything down for you we've even stayed after class with her. Check out her vids... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vL6dD8L-u_U

Thanks! We looked into the Petco by our house, but they were not sure about the schedule for the new class yet. Petsmart is a little far for us, and I think the class times didn't fit our schedule. Otherwise, I think I would totally go there. Hopefully we find something soon.

im thinking about going to one of these places to get Carly well trained... weve been through two sessions with the cgc group , which were 6 weeks each..classes are too big and she didn't pass either time, so im done with the big classes that test at the end and we fail :( ..
either petco or petsmart is available but i wondered if anyone knows who does the best training? obviously I need some training

I've heard nothing but raved reviews from petsmart. So, I am assuming they have the better classes. When I called the Petco by my house the workers were not even quite sure on the class times! lol
