While my little girl is still too tiny for any serious agility training (I compete with the two Border Collies), I was wondering if any of you had experience with Flyball and Corgi's. How do they do with this sport? Is there certain "behaviors" that make one Corgi better at Flyball over another? Thanks.

Hi Samantha, here you go.

We've never done flyball, but members of our dog training club keep on trying to recruit Edison as a "height dog".  Apparently, the hurdles are set by the shortest dog in the team, and when the dog is a corgi, they set the hurdles as low as you can go.  :D

The same flyball enthusiast (he has an Aussie and a Pyreneean shepherd to exhaust into calm) says that corgis tend to do really well at flyball, since they're an intelligent, enthusiastic and terrific little runners.  :)

Thanks! I know my little girl LOVES to run!
