Event Description

Come bring your corgi to test their herding instinct with a real flock of sheep! The trainer at the Canine Ranch in Canton will take them individually into the pen with the sheep to determine the dog's interest and talent. Each dog gets to herd the sheep multiple times. I know multiple people who have taken their dog and they say it is well worth it! Price is $30, but space is limited. Please RSVP to Avery Tomlinson's page or on the Georgia Corgi's group site. See everyone there!

Disappointed that I didn't see this soone. Would have loved to gone. If Cece can heard people and other dogs, I wonder what she would do w/ sheep!

Yes, Ruby was only a year old. She was rescued as a puppy when she came down with parvo and was abandoned by the people that bought her from a breeder. She is such a little cutie! Rosebud and Lucy had a great time as well! I posted my videos on youtube... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oWzpa6VmsE

Ruby was the little tri-color, I think she was only a year old. I believe Teresa was her mom and she brought her daughter.

Duchess was a natural! I think Dyson would have a blast. We though he was too young to try it yesterday and so did the instructor. But, I think there was a dog there yesterday that was younger. I wish I could remember all of the names!

@Dara, when you are ready to take Dyson back let us know and we will join you. I would love the opportunity to go back (as would Duchess).

That was so much fun yesterday. Gracie was worn out! So was Dyson and he didn't do anything! I hope to do more of this type stuff. It was great to meet everyone and I look forward to meeting more of you. There is a Georgia Pembroke Welsh Corgi Group of the Atlanta area. They are most for show dogs, I think. I have two "imperfect" dogs that are just sweet pets! :) I can't wait for future events. Georgia Corgis Unite! :)

Duchess had such a good time! IT was great meeting all the other corgi's (and their Mom and Dad's). She is currently laying upside down on her pillow bed with front legs to the left and back legs splayed with head hanging off her bed, sound asleep!

you guys are going to have so much fun! Sidney's been instinct tested twice here in San Diego (he's a natural). When you see you pup do his thing, your heart will swell with pride. I think I was accidentally added to this list, seeing as how I'm in California, but I look forward to hearing you guys post about it afterwards.
