Atlas used to do this all the time when he was a puppy, usually it was sometime in the middle of a walk. He would jump up and bit at my legs or shorts. Whenever he'd start doing that I'd stop, and ignore him while saying no, until he stopped. This behavior kind of tapered off.
But recently at the dog park it's started up again. Yesterday things got pretty annoying, he was really jumpy and bitey. I ignore him and say no, and use my free leg to block him, as I figure this is his vie for attention.
Is this the right thing to do? Any other tips would be much appreciated.
