Anyone know where I can get a gate/fence that will fit a 96-inch (8 foot) long area (to fence off the kitchen from living room), but is taller than 30"??

We think Kitsie may jump a gate that's 30". So far we've only found a couple, one from Drs. Foster and Smith, and one sold thru Target (brand is Carlson).

Another problem we have is that one end is a banister to the downstairs - not sure how to secure a fence to the banister - we found something at babygates.com that attaches to the fence on one side and around the banister on the other, however, they only make them for the standard size baby gates (30" high).

Any help appreciated. We've looked at Amazon, Nextel, babygates.com, target, petco, petsmart, wal-mart, and the like.
