Now that it is warmer, I keep a bowl of water on the patio since the dogs are spending more time outside however, now both dogs only want to drink from the outside bowl. I have a nice filtered water dispenser inside but they walk right past it to stand at the back door and whine. I always let them out thinking they need to go to the bathroom but they usually run to the water bowl for a few slurps and then want to come back inside, even if it is raining! I'm waiting for them to want to dine al fresco next! Why the change in preference?
