Hi, our female corgi insists on peeing and pooing on our daughter's bed, floor, couch, chair, you name it. She can be outside and we watch and she will pee and then when she comes into the house, she will pee again on anything that is cloth! If there is a sock on the floor she will christen it! If there is nothing on the floor she will either pull something down or jump up and finish her " chore" there. We are so frustrated. We have tried vinegar, we have tried bleaching the floor. What is really mind boggling is that she will not do this in any other room!
This is our daughter's dog and so she would like to have her sleep in her room, and spend time with her as well, but nothing has broken her of this awful habit. We have kenneled her at night, but during the day is no better. Yet if we put her in our bedroom at night , no kennel, just blanket she doesn't have a problem.
Does anyone have any suggestions? She is a very shy girl, she loves to cuddle and sit. She is a very good companion dog in that respect but she just won't control her habits.
She also will not play. We have tried everything. She literally will not play with toys, chew toys, will hardly eat any kind of treats, I need some help here.
When I spoke with our vet, I told him that it is not that we are comparing our new puppy, to her former predecessor. We realize that every puppy is unique. We love her and our daughter is broken hearted that we can't get this in check, nor that she will not play. He is at a loss, there is nothing medically wrong with her she is in great health.
Any help would be appreciated.
Oh, our girl is around 1 and 1.2 years old. We have had her since she was 12 weeks old.
