All of a sudden Gretzky has armpit issues! They are red, moist, and raw looking.  He stood with his leg out to the side ( like a penguin) so they wouldn't rub I suppose.  He has been walked recently in some very wet, snowy conditions here in the Midwest and maybe his little pits just never dry out.  I just don't know why all of a sudden he would get this. He's been walked in sloppy conditions with no problems.  Maybe the salt that they put on the street here...They are getting better which is a relief but I would like to prevent it from happening again.  Has anyone else has this problem with their Corgi?

I have not seen that one. I wonder if he is having some sort of an allergic reaction?
I have not seen that either. My corgies are a bit nurotic about things too (like their momma). But... the only thing I can really think of is that the salt. I know that the salt is not good for dogs paws. I actually did not know this and just recently heard this. But I don't know why that would effect his arm pits really. That's the only thing I can really think of though. Maybe try to dry them out more often throughout the day? sorry I don't have any other suggestions though!
Yes, I was thinking that the salt might be the culprit. He seems to be healing up now. Hopefully it won't happen again. Thank you for your somment
