Baxter, my 9 week old, was picked up from the breeder around 7.5 weeks due to scheduling/pick up issues.  He has a tendency to explore his environment using his "very sharp" teeth, so I'm trying to teach him bite inhibition.  From a human standpoint, we're going with the "ouch" approach that has been so-so because once he latches on, he likes to stay on.  We try to barter with either a treat or toy and have been moderately successful.

I'm currently home for the holidays and have been having difficulties finding an appropriate supervised puppy play group.  We have a chocolate lab (1 year) and pembroke (1.5 years) at the house whom Baxter has been socializing with.  What other alternatives would you suggest until I go back up to the city in about 3 weeks?  I know socialization is vital at this stage, especially for promoting bite inhibition.

Thanks!
