I did go to the dog park tonight and my Corgis had a blast!  Lots of dogs there tonight.  I saw the flyer hanging on their fence.  The park district had laminated it and hung it there for all to see.  That should bring in a few more Corgis.  I took a picture of Wynne with the flyer since it is her photo on it.  A few people asked me about the flyer and the event.  None had Corgis....

It might be at the dog park.  Kallie's fence is a wooden privacy fence.  We are on a very busy street with a good amount of foot traffic.  I just left one at Pard's Western store in Urbana because they sell a lot of Corgi figurines and other items.  Border Collie items, too.  I believe that Corgis are the #1 choice of horsemen and Pard's carries mostly horse-related items.  I have left the flyers at several other stores as well, including the one by County Market in west Champaign.  They said they would tape it to the door.  Weather permitting, it should be a fun day for all.

If you Google CORGI-CON a picture of a laminated flyer is attached to a chain link fence on reddit.com.  (Was that YOURS?)  I thought it might be hanging at the dog park.  I plan to drive by the park tonight to check it out.  People were commenting on the flyer.  One said... "all kinds of adorable is going to happen that day."  Another site we found someone said, "Now there is a convention I could get into."

I put up a flyer on Kallie's fence.  I recently saw a new Corgi in our area as her human companion was walking her.  Heard Kallie barking and went to see what was going on.  The new Corgi and Mom were walking by.  She saw the sign and hopefully she'll consider coming to the event.  I tried to get out to talk to her about it, but she was walking fast and I missed her.

Should be coming!  Might only bring Twiggy this year because Pancake had some really bad anxiety last year during and after so I don't want him to be upset!  Hope to see you all there, new and old!!!

Sure hope you can make it to Corgicon, Gina.  Our little Kallie is excited about having the opportunity to interact with other Corgis.

Gina,  Yes, you can get the pass that day at the park.  That is why I chose this dog park.  There is a form to fill out and then you put the form and $5 in the park's lock box and go right in.  Super easy!

I hope we see you there!

Can you get the daily pass the day of the meet-up?  I tried calling a bunch of numbers at the park district, but nobody knows how to pick up a phone.
