That's great that you got to meet several mycorgi members. We didn't recognize anyone. Next year I'm going to exchange cell phone #s before the show. Did you take any photos? Lucy is not social and she also appears aggressive because she's uncomfortable with dogs sniffing her face. Ricky/Rafa loves every dog he meets. He had a ball.

Maya and I went.  This was our first official Corgi fun Day and there were so many corgi's I loved it.  Maya did great - she is a bit aloof which is okay - that is the cardi in her.  It was wonderful seeing and meeting Bruno and Elizabeth in real time. Linda and Duke were great - they walked around and met me and even worked with my sister who brought her bishon/schnauzer mix Wynter.  Wynter is scared of other dogs so she can appear quite agressive.  Linda and Duke got Wynter to walk around a bit with all the various happy corgis.  It was an excellent training event for socialization.  I am looking forward to next year.

I'm excited. We've been to specialty days before, but never a FUN DAY.

Are there usually name tags? I don't want to miss saying hello to my online friends? Knowing me, I'll just introduce myself to every owner & dog I see.

Lucy may be aloof to the dogs, so nothing personal. She's always been like that. Ricky/Rafa loves every 2-legged and 4-legged person he's ever met, except our cat!

We're heading out to the park today.  We'll camp there & attend the Corgi Fun Day.  Please say hi to us!  We'll be donating some hand made, crochet Corgi sweaters for the raffle!

Last year I brought a vegetable platter since my dogs name started with an "R". It says what to bring in the pdf flyer under the topic "What to bring/Potluck information" Suggestested guideline for potluck: If your oldest dog's name begins with an A-L bring an Entree, M-S salad or side dish, T-Z  dessert. Bring your own drinks. Romeo and I had a GREAT time last year! Don't forget to bring $ for the raffle!
