Wow this is years late but I have a Cardigan mix Cojack (his name is Gremlin, pictured above). We got him in early 2008 as a rescue (he was about 3-4 months old). He is high energy outdoors but a bit lazy around the house. He is able to entertain himself with easy (he drags his blanket around like a toddler, we call it his binky). Once you get him outdoors he is super high energy! Best bush dog ever, never need a leash and he is friendly with everything (people, kids, cats, other dogs, ferrets, you name it he wants to be friends). Great mouse hunter and has a tendency to herd other dogs when playing with them which is common in this breed mix I have read. He continually learns new tricks, at almost 7 years now we just last week taught him to put his toys away in his toy box.
Most of the Cojack websites breed descriptions are accurate but Gremlin is a bit larger than their largest estimate (he's 45 lbs of solid muscle).
I have a co-jack and this dog is not lacking in personality. I love watching her
at agility class, she picks up tricks quickly and is a natural. When we go for hikes in the
woods I love watching her run leaping over logs and running after squirrels.
The one thing about my co-jack is that she can be very stubborn and it comes at random
times, it is just part of her personality.
